Genuine Dutch Military insulated Reversible Cold weather Jacket. Brand New condition. Fully reversible with the flip around zipping. Windstopper storm flap on both sides of the zip. Zipped pockets on both sides with a storm flap over. Dutch Military Insulating Jacket down to -10 Degrees. Coyote Tan on the one side / Light olive-like PCS On the other. Comes with its own stuff bag. Elasticated comfort cuffs. Rank tab on both sides for rank if required. Pull toggle on the collar to make snug. Toggle pull adjusters on the waist hem to make snug. The British Army coined the phrase "Softie" for this style of jacket. Our softie is a Genuine Dutch Military reversible cold weather jacket. The jacket appears to be a lightweight summer jacket, but the Softie's outer shell is water-resistant nylon and is insulated with a Hi-Tech microfibre filling and rated to -10°F. Windstopper storm flap covers the main zipper, pull toggles at the waist and collar ensuring a snug fit and elasticized cuffs will keep the cold out. The jacket can reverse from Tan to OD and comes in its own stuff sack. Weighs 1.43 lbs.

Great jacket, used several times ????
this reversible is great as a daily wear, range , or back packing backup. Stuff sack makes storage easy and convenient almost no indications it was issued...great shape

Lightweight, compressible, runs small
Just purchased the jacket. Really lightweight, and compressible which is awesome. If it is not new it looks brand new but without tags. The jacket is probably a mid-layer for really cold weather. a few thin lays can be worn underneath such as lightweight, ultra-warm clothing or maybe 1 lightweight and 1 mid-weight garment underneath. So, for a XL I think it runs a bit small. I'm 6.0 and about 220 lbs. If you are looking for a lightweight jacket for mild winter or for carrying backpacking this jacket is a great purchase.
