While digging through warehouse inventory we uncovered an extraordinary piece of military cold-weather equipment, a genuine U.S. Government Issue evacuation sleeping bag in stored but excellent condition.

Originally designed for extreme cold weather survival and evacuation use, this bag is built for maximum warmth and durability. Filled with a poly and down insulation blend, the bag weighs in at nearly 16 pounds of serious cold-weather protection, making it one of the warmest military sleeping systems ever produced.

The rugged nylon outer shell with Cordura-type reinforced bottom panel protects against rough surfaces, while the interior features a comfortable soft poly-cotton lining. A full fur-trimmed hood with wire adjustment allows the opening to close tightly around the face to retain body heat in severe conditions.

The bag opens fully with a wrap-around self-repairing nylon zipper, making entry and exit easy, and it can be completely opened for ventilation if needed.

While this bag was not designed for backpacking, it excels in situations where maximum warmth and protection are the priority, perfect for cabins, RV travel, vehicle kits, base camp, or emergency preparedness.
