MRE'S 12 ENTREES MIXED ASSORTED

I've never met a real, G.I. MRE I didn't like. While you don't get the sides, crackers, spreads, coffee, etc... that you get in a full MRE, but you do get a case worth's of entrees. Very useful and packable, they can be supplemented with a power bar or something if you're still hungry, but these delicious entrees will sustain you for a day if rations get low. This is a good find, actually

I can say with all seriousness that I have yet to meet an MRE that I didn't like. Many years ago, when I was a young man, I lived for about a month on almost exclusively MREs. I even brought some home that I "tactically acquired". My Grandfather, a WW2 Marine ( I was still in my 20s back then in the 1990s and my Grandparents were still alive ), said upon his first taste of the Corned Beef Hash entree, "They sure didn't have field rations like this when I was in the service! You boys must have been doing alright for chow!" My Grandmother even liked them so much she proceeded to heat up every entree in that 12 MRE case so that everyone could taste a few bites of everything. Being the Italian Grandmother of a cook that she was, that's quite the endorsement. Among my favorites are the Smothered Jamaican Pork chop and the Chili Mac. As long as these are the real military MREs, I'm stocking up, I think they're delicious even at home.
